Refresh your knowledge of the current electrical regulations and relevant electrical standards. 

This course helps you prepare for the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) exam for electrical registration.

Your tutor will refine your on-the-job knowledge about specific regulations to help you meet exam requirements.

It's ideal if you already have a solid understanding of the theory for the EWRB exam, but need to revise the latest standards and regulations.

Topics you'll cover

In-class delivery will be over three days, covering a total of eight hours. Content covered is in-house material which is structured around previous examination papers.

This course will help prepare you to complete a theory examination which is required through EWRB ASPEQ. This examination will be paid for separately from this course.

Ensure you at least have a copy of the AS/NZS 3000:2007 "The Wiring Rules" for the exam.

Course Entry Information

Entry criteria

  • There are no minimum academic requirements.

Standard Entry Criteria

Admission, entry, selection, and enrolment into programmes will be in accordance with the Academic Regulations and/or, where approved, specific programme regulations.

English language requirements

Level 4 certificate IELTS General or Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 with an endorsement of either General, Workplace or Academic, or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
