A full-time block course held over five days; attendance is vital for anyone with overseas electrical qualifications who needs EWRB registration to work in New Zealand. With two course dates to choose from, our tutors ensure participants meet all three stages of the practical skills requirements for New Zealand registration.

Topics you'll cover
Course content is in line with the EWRB requirements.
Assessment is provided under three stages of practical requirements from the Electrical Workers Registration Board- EWRB Electrical Regulations. Visit the EWRB website for more information about their regulations and requirements.
You will be required to present a copy of your current First Aid Certificate to the tutor. The certificate needs to be from a one day practical first aid course equivalent to unit standards 6401/6402 or 26551/26552. If you do not have a current First Aid Certificate, please contact Red Cross or St Johns to book onto a first aid training session and bring a copy of your certificate with you to this course.

- Prior knowledge and experience in the electrical industry
English language requirements
Level 4 certificate IELTS General or Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 with an endorsement of either General, Workplace or Academic, or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
