Te Ara Poutama – Māori and Pasifika Trades Training
MPTT provides free study for Māori and Pasifika people aged between 16 and 40, enrolled and accepted into an MPTT eligible course. Gain valuable knowledge and skills, pathway onto an apprenticeship, employment or higher level of study. See below for the full list of courses eligible for MPTT in 2025.

- Māori or Pasifika

- A New Zealand citizen or New Zealand permanent resident
- Enrolled in your chosen trade course
