Physiotherapist, trainer, lecturer, researcher and writer - Carolyn Wilson
Carolyn Wilson is a Senior Academic Staff Member and previous lecturer in Toi Ohomai’s suite of health programmes. She is currently the Kaiako success advisor on our Mokoia campus, supporting new Kaiako. Having recently completed her Master’s, Carolyn has been enjoying exploring academic writing and publishing, and finding new ways in which research can inform her teaching and assist students for their healthcare career. Her current research is taking a new direction, with a single phenomenological case study of a gentleman who had a specific spinal cord injury and has drawn on his own spirituality to make meaning of his new life, while supported by physiotherapists and the wider healthcare system.
