Course Overview

This exciting new part-time horticulture course has been especially developed for those working towards a supervisory position in the fruit production industry.

It is industry focused, meaning you come out with exactly the skills that industry are looking for like production knowledge, teamwork and communication.

The course is delivered part-time over 12 months, and you'll cover a range of supervisory, and seasonal fruit production skills while gaining in-depth knowledge of growing and harvesting processes.

Upon successfully completing the requirements you'll receive the award of:

Admission, entry, selection, and enrolment into programmes will be in accordance with the Academic Regulations and/or, where approved, specific programme regulations.

English language requirements

Level 4 certificate IELTS General or Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 with an endorsement of either General, Workplace or Academic, or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
