Dale Sattler

Dale is a creative arts tutor for the Bachelor of Creative Industries, with a particular focus on graphic design, from print based to screen-based outcomes.

Prior to joining the Toi Ohomai whānau, he spent three years working in the bustling city of London. The highlight of his career was working in the UK where he joined a global advertising and marketing agency Ogilvy and Mather.

He has a Bachelor of Social Sciences, a Bachelor of Media Arts (Design) (Honours) and a Master of Art from Wintec that focused on typography. Dale recently had three typefaces he designed accepted into Google Fonts. This has been a long-term goal of Dale's and the focus of much of his academic work.

Outside of his work as a creative and a tutor, Dale loves music, family time, going outdoors for a run or kayak fishing and doing DIY construction projects.
