New Zealand Diploma in Business Level 5 Outcome and Destination Survey
The New Zealand Diploma in Business Level 5 is an eight course qualification which was offered for the first time at Toi Ohomai in 2018.
This research was designed to capture the students’ perception of their learning in relation to the graduate outcomes of the course, and also their destinations post-study.
This information served to show how effective the learning was, and the overall student satisfaction, which allowed reflection on the teaching and learning experience. Also, the pathways chosen by the graduates allowed us to inform future students of potential pathways, improve stakeholder relations (where the student had chosen employment), and allow better forecasting for pathways, particularly into our Bachelor of Applied Management degree.
As a dedicated regional provider it is important to us to meet our commitments to our stakeholders. It is envisaged that this research will be repeated on an annual basis to determine how well we currently meet our community needs.
