The Linton Park Community Engagement Survey - Dr Muhammad Akhtaruzzaman
Akhtar works as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business Design and Service Industries at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, Rotorua.
Akhtar is an affiliated Research Associate of Crawford Public School at the Australian National University. Akhtar teaches a number of Business and Management papers at postgrad and supervises Masters students.
Akhtar continues to publish his research in highly-ranked, peer reviewed journals including European Journal of Political Economy, China Economic Review, Applied Economics.
Akhtar is keen to build and foster relationship between Toi Ohomai and local community and industry stakeholders, aligned to Toi Ohomai’s commitment and values: Kotahitanga, Whanaungatanga.
Currently, Akhtar is leading a community engagement project developed in collaboration with Linton Park Community Centre (LPCC) in Rotorua, which has secured funding from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) and is now in operation.
