Shuttle Booking Request Form

Use this form to request a shuttle from Auckland Airport to your accommodation in Tauranga or Rotorua.

  • The shuttle service is a free complementary service for international students who have not studied at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology before.
  • The service is from Auckland Airport to Rotorua or Tauranga only and the travelling time is between 3 and a half to 4 hours.
  • You must submit this shuttle booking request form at least one week in advance and no later than 48hrs before your flight departs in order to guarantee your seat on the shuttle.
  • The drop off address must either be a private residence, or commercial accommodation. If it’s commercial accommodation and the flight lands after 6.00pm, you will need to make sure they can accept you after hours.
  • The last shuttle of the night is at 9.30pm and the first shuttle in the morning is between 7am and 9am. For flights arriving after 8.30pm, please consider staying overnight in Auckland. We recommend you book a hotel nearby to the airport e.g. Novotel or Jet Park to avoid extra charges, which start from NZD$60.
  • If you’ve booked accommodation at one of the Toi Ohomai Windermere houses in Tauranga, you’ll need to arrive at the property Monday to Friday between 9.00am to 7.00pm to be welcomed and assisted by the Property Manager. If you arrive outside of those hours, arrangements need to be made with Campus Security for key collection.
  • You must have a confirmed drop off address to submit this form. Note that a Toi Ohomai address is not an option.
  • Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice but more than 48 hours prior to travel will incur a 50% cancellation fee. This value will be paid by the student. 
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of collection time are non-refundable. The cost of the booking will have to be paid by the student. 
  • If you no-show to the shuttle, you will need to pay for the cost of the booking, starting from NZD $135, depending on the destination.
  • If you experience flight delays or cancellations, you are required to inform us as soon as possible, with your name, student ID and booking confirmation number to [email protected], to prevent being recorded as a no-show and avoid penalties.

IMPORTANT: Submitting this form does not confirm your booking. A separate confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide below within 24 hours of receiving your shuttle booking request form, during office hours Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm.
