Keep on Your Feet
Keep on your Feet is a holistic physical activity and education programme developed specifically for adults over the age of 60.
It's designed to improve physical function through tiered resistance exercise programmes incorporating balance, flexibility, gait and cardio-vascular function.
Members enjoy other fun components including educational seminars, modified sport days, social events and Masters' Games.
Who is Keep on your Feet for?
Adults over the age of 60 years from the already fit who are keen to keep active and well, to the borderline frail.
The Keep on your Feet programme is fully endorsed by many G.P.’s, hospitals, Waitemata & Auckland District Health Boards, National Heart Foundation and Green Prescription.
How You Can Join In
Just do it! Simply come along to the Aquatic and Fitness Centre at Toi Ohomai in Tauranga.
Where: Aquatic and Fitness Centre, Windermere Drive. Turn right at Gate One and follow your nose to the end of the road.
Cost: Initial assessment and programme design is free. $7.50 each session thereafter and $65 for a 10 visit concession card. $425 for an annual membership.
When: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.30am to 9am. Appointments available now!
