Harassment
Harassment is behaviour that is:
- Unwanted or offensive
- Not legitimate
- Repeated or serious
- Hurtful
- An abuse of power
It may be sexual harassment or harassment based on gender, race, age, appearance, religion or any other factor. Most importantly, it has a detrimental effect on you, your work, your learning and/or performance.
Harassment is in breach of the Student Code of Conduct and is dealt with as quickly and effectively as possible in the same way as complaints.
