Toi Ohomai Howie Hinton Memorial Scholarship

Howie Hinton was a dedicated and inspirational sport and recreation tutor at Toi Ohomai legacy institution, Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. This scholarship is offered in memory of Howie’s life and contribution.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to Toi Ohomai Sport Diploma Level 5 graduates who will be enrolling into the Sport Diploma Level 6. 

Open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents only. 

Criteria

  • Applicants must provide evidence of a high level of commitment to their sport and recreation studies
  • The financial needs of each applicant will also be considered

One scholarship awarded and credited to the student's second-year course fees.
