Faculty of Business, Design and Service Industries
I'm a creative arts tutor for the Bachelor of Creative Industries. My area of specialisation is graphic design and I aim to use my broad experience in my teaching, focusing on everything from print based to screen-based outcomes.
Prior to joining the Toi Ohomai whānau, I spent three years working in the bustling city of London. The highlight of my career working in the UK was when I joined at global advertising and marketing agency Ogilvy and Mather.
I’m passionate about furthering my education in areas that I develop interests in. I have a Bachelor of Social Sciences, a Bachelor of Media Arts (Design) (Honours) and a Master of Art from Wintec.
My master’s degree, which I completed in 2018, focused on typography and recently, three typefaces that I designed were accepted in to Google Fonts. This has been a long-term goal of mine and the focus of much of my academic work.
Outside of my work as a creative and a tutor, I love music, my family, going outdoors for a run or kayak fishing and doing DIY construction projects.
