Rotorua Graduations

The ceremonies take place at Rotorua Energy Events Centre, Rotorua.

Seating at the Venue

Guest seating at the Energy Events Centre is by general admission (you can sit where you like), and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The venue is usually filled to capacity for all of the ceremonies, so it’s good to arrive early, particularly if you are with a group, our ushers will do their best to ensure you can be seated together.

There will be a reserved area for our guests in wheelchairs. Graduands should contact the graduation coordinator before the day, if they or any of their guests need wheelchair access or assistance of any kind.

Graduands will be seated together in a particular order near the front of the venue, you will not be sitting with your guests, and you need to make sure you stay in your correct seats to ensure you receive the correct award when you cross the stage.

All ceremonies will be streamed live in the foyer if your guests do need to attend to children, without disrupting proceedings. We will also have a live stream through our website for any guests unable to attend, watch this space for more details.
